A Viral Sensation

Challenge
Cafe Baffico felt something was missing. They had an amazing product, an established brand, but the turnout had not yet matched the tireless work put in. The challenge was taking the leap and pivoting from working in the business to working on the business by analyzing ways to generate more traffic to the store.
Now only if it were that simple.
Although traffic needed to increase, the current social media marketing strategy, albeit a growing Instagram following, still was not yielding the results they expected.

Our Insights
We felt Cafe Baffico's brand was pristine, however, it lacked direction and a functional online presence. The website was not flushed out nor was it mobile friendly, and overall, it did not reflect the image of quality that they were going for.
In the event there was an increase in interest and web traffic, they did not have the proper systems in place to analyze, capture and communicate with their new found audience.
We decided to create a dynamic website that could be continuously updated with the latest menu, capture the essence of their in-store vibe, and help funnel customers seeking to learn more about the Cafe's viral sensation through their website and into their eclectic Hamilton East end location.

Key Goals
- Redesign the website to match their in-store ambiance, quality, and look
- Make it easy for customers to communicate with the store owner with reservation bookings and online food orders
- Drastically improve mobile usability
- Increase local visibility through performance and SEO best practices
- Turn the website into a consistent conversion funnel

Results
The new website immediately began delivering and capturing measurable results:
- 33k in organic search in the last calendar year (2025)
- 67k in website views
- Effective local SEO best practices
- Significantly improved mobile experience
- Led to numerous weeks of selling out of goods and full bookings
For the first time, Cafe Baffico had a digital presence that actively supported day-to-day operations and growth.
